Nina McLemore has an amazing opportunity for Sales Consultants. This position provides an opportunity for someone to meet and work with interesting women, be creative, and have her own business on a part time basis. This role is for someone that wants to work 4 months a year and make a generous income. A Nina McLemore Sales Consultant hosts 4 trunk shows a year, to share our seasonal collections. We have opportunities for local and regional sales consultants if you are looking for a full-time opportunity or want to host more than 4 shows.
The Collection: The Collection is designed to fill a real need for women who want understated, elegant clothing. They are executives or are active in their communities, and travel. The collection has suits, casual, resort, and evening attire. Nina's clothing is known for its great fit, bright colors, and exquisite fabrics. The fabrics are natural from Europe. Made in New York in sizes from 00 – 18.
Distribution: The collection is sold through style consultants, 3 Nina McLemore stores in New York, Washington DC, and Atlanta, online, and through select specialty stores.
Philanthropy: Nina has served as Chair of the Center for Women’s Business Research, Fashion Group International. Nina is a founding member of the Committee of 200 and Women Corporate Directors, and a member of the International Women’s Forum, and Women President’s Organization. She grew up designing and making all of her own clothes and earned her MBA from Columbia University School of Business. Nina wants to provide women a seat at the table and the opportunity to feel and look sophisticated.
The Sales Consultant position provides an opportunity for someone to meet and work with interesting women, be creative, and have her own business on a part time basis. A sales consultant shows the collection 4 times each year on her schedule, attends sales meetings in New York to learn the collection, and will have access to our existing client base in the area along with all of our marketing materials. Sales consultants earn a 25% commission on all direct sales.
THE IDEAL SALES CONSULTANT IS SOMEONE WHO:
- Has a strong network and knows women who would like, need, and can afford the collection.
- Wants to earn an income, in some cases to pay school tuitions, to travel, for additional financial support, or to raise funds for philanthropy.
- Loves clothes, loves people, and has a good sense of style.
- Is organized and focused.
- Likes to sell and advise people.
This is a proven business model where you can work on your own schedule and provide a real service to other women. You may have a professional background or you may have been very active in nonprofits in the community and want to do more.
Compensation: $50,000/yr - $200,000/yr
