This is a plaid shirt that is original to and designed by Nina McLemore exclusively for our collection. This mill has been making these plaids since our first collection and is a wonderful mill based out of India. They use the finest Chinese silk Dupioni yarn and has outstanding dyeing. These silks are lightweight and excellent for hot and humid weather as silk is very comfortable in hot weather. This fabric quality does not wrinkle easily and looks great on the body – it also packs extremely well. It can be worn for day with the Equestrian cotton, the new Active Nylon or for an afternoon cocktail party with 4 ply or the new Stretch Silk. They can be worn with a Tank top or T shirt underneath and open as a jacket, or buttoned and either worn out or tucked in. They take up no room in the suitcase and which make them great for every trip in the spring and summer! Don’t forget to pop the collar!
